mylife OmniPod recycling program
One of the advantages of having our headquarters in Switzerland means that we have found a designated firm that is as passionate about recycling as we are about the mylife OmniPod. All your boxes are brought here and in a newly set up recycling line we have your Pods dismantled. Including the use of a state of the art robot specially acquired for recycling our patch pump.
Batteries are taken out and handled appropriately; other materials are separated and used for their contents. Your Pod shell and base are not just burned like most medical waste, like for instance infusion sets, but used as substitute fuel and with that contributing to other energy wining processes.
And since Switzerland is famous for its high standard of recycling, you can say we do it the Swiss way, all the way.
It’s quick and simple to do – please help us by returning your Pods:
- Collect your
used Pods in the plastic bag provided.
- Once the bag
is full (approximately after 3 months), seal the bag and place it in the
mylife™ OmniPod® recycling box.
- Seal the box, attach the adhesive address label and take the recycling box to the post office.
